In this psychological horror, a man finds himself imprisoned with a mysterious woman in a remote desert canyon where a pack of feral boys have built a primordial society structured around a brutal code of entrapment and procreation. Staring Scott Haze and Kate Lyn Sheil.

Alina’s cabin and compound are home to 95 percent of the movie’s action and serves as the third main principle character. The connecting and design of this structure had to be small enough to be believable and also be able to support a level of ease for the camera crew. Finished on all sides our structure was cleverly built with concealed fly away wall sections and ceiling pieces to accommodate the challenging filming schedule. Alina’s story of an artist and mothers soul raise din a feral and abandoned environment is told through layers and layers of details scavenged from the desert and its victims. A nod to the expression of artist Noah Purifoy. Every drawer and every inch of the cabin served a purpose and held the details that drove the story in a very actor friendly method environment.

Building our set in an extremely remote slot canyon with a two mile long dirt path traversable only by a 4x4 truck proved challenging with continually wash outs and unexpected snow fall. Our set was constructed seven hours away in Salt Lake and transported piece by piece via pick up truck to our location for assembly. I scoured the surrounding desert towns driving for hours to collect the strips and debris that became our set dressing and create the layers that told our story. This project was hard and challenging and wonderful.
